...and we've finally done it! We're one month old today!! I just can't believe how time flies so quickly. A month ago, late in the night, I finally jumped at the thought of creating this blog and a month later I realize that this is one of the best things I've done so far...and I mean it!
I was pleasantly surprised to see a comment on "one" by Alexa yesterday. It feels so good to see such comments and to know that people are checking out your work and liking it! Thanks, Alexa and to all the others who have been supportive throughout this month...keep it going as it is important for us to keep this going!
I took this shot as I was going back home. I don't really like the entire Vikroli area much as it is always under construction, be it any point of the year. But, my sight caught hold of this beautiful tree and these leaves and flowers which was in between us and the sky. I feel this just adds to the sky's beauty. With shelter like this, why would anybody want to go anywhere else? Just for a moment, I felt great just staring at the sky through them...
For these flowers that looked so pretty...

Beautiful shot, Rahul -- you're very young to have already figured out that beauty can be found anywhere if you just have your eyes open for it.
Didn't log on yesterday, but to answer your question:
That photo made me remember my introduction to Bombay in 1967, when I reminded myself (somewhat arrogantly, I suppose) that there were no homeless people in New York (where I'm from) or Paris (where I was living at the time). Well, I was very young then (younger than you are now), and, of course, homelessness is a problem in New York AND Paris -- and worldwide. Keep it up -- the people will come.
Dear Alexa,
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!:)
After having traveled around a bit, I myself have realized that being homeless is present probably in every part of the globe...it does make the picture look incomplete and it saddens me when I look at it. But, I am a thorough optimist and I'm hoping things will change at some point!!:)
Thanks a ton for coming again...keep visiting and keep writing...:)
We love connecting with and knowing new people!:)
smiles:)
