figures

...and people say they don't like Carter Rd! This is one of my favorite places in the city. I love sitting here for hours and sipping my cappuccino coffee from the Cafe Coffee Day that resides at the corner of the street.

The best part of this place is the color in the evening that the skies and the entire scene takes to itself. And, when you are standing at the point where I was, trust me, it seems as though life was just meant to be the way it was at that moment. You could hardly recognize what is in front of you by faces...all that is visible is outlined figures like you can see here.

Life is beautiful...let it be so...

For beauty...

Wow, Rahul, this IS beautiful. Love the golden light on the water, with everything else in outline and the birds gathering overhead. Is this a place where people come to enjoy the sunsets?

yup, Alexa!:)
People come here to enjoy the sunset, the sunrise, the late night cold breeze, the heavy rains!!:)
and sometimes to get a glimpse of the film stars too!!:)

I always felt the sunset is a rather special moment of the day... just like if my cells were able to remember the ancestral fear: will the sun come back again?

Babies also are well known for their 'crepuscular cries', unexplained cries which always happened just after the sunset...

... as for capuccino: of course with a large amount of deep cream, it is the best medicine to all ancestral fears or crepuscular cries !!! ;)

You express yourself so poetically, Rahul. Each day I look forward to what I will discover when I visit your blog. Thank you for being one of the bright spots in my day.
