I took this shot today. This is my all time favorite place - the Taj corridor!
Whenever I walk by this path, I feel like a king. This hotel was built years ago but it still feel so grand and aristocratic! The entire building completely stands out as you reach this place.
Since it opened in 1903, The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai has created its own unique history. From Maharajas and Princes to various Kings, Presidents, CEOs and entertainers, the Taj has played the perfect host, supportive of their every need.
The thing that really excites me the most is simply going and sitting in the lobby of the Taj and smiling.

What a pleasant walk this must be. Talk about window shopping: Bulgari, Louis V! The lobby must be specatular.
Wah-ji-wah, Rahul. I absolutely love this place. When I was there, I couldn't afford to stay here, but the person I traveled around India with met up with her boyfriend when we got back to Bombay and they stayed at the Taj, and took me to dinner at a fabulous restaurant in the hotel. Thanks for bringing up that memory!
BTW, I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon for Italy, and I don't know how much Internet access I'll have. I'll really miss your posts for the next 2 weeks (and have scheduled mine ahead, if you want to stop by and see where we are). See you in October!

Italy is a spectacular place!!:) Do remember to eat all the road-side pizzas and lots of ice-creams in Rome!!:) And, yes...do spend LOADS of time at the Trevi Fountain, despite it being crowded!!:)
