
This really amazed me when I saw it. This shot was taken by Meghna as she was heading towards the office. She was caught up in traffic near Malad Link Road, as she saw this lovely vehicle standing for the red signal to turn green!
Isn't it amazing to see a totally different side to life standing right next to you. When you think of it, this was how it was earlier! We keep traveling but we tend to forget the journey. It is amazing that this is allowed on the road with the other vehicles. Laws are so strict here about what you can and can not drive and where you drive it! Pretty cool shot.
Great photo, Meghna! This is India to me: a perfect blend of ancient and modern. In the States, this cart would have to have a sign on the back saying "slow-moving vehicle."

Well, moments like these aren't very common even here...but I guess it was one of those rare moments when we could see such a bullock cart on the main roads of a place like Malad!:)
