peace

After a horrible disgraceful day that the city has seen today, I really wonder what all is to be written and what all is to be omitted!

This city is good, I know it. The people are gems, we all have realized it. But, why does every story need to have conflicts, is what every writer fails to answer! The city saw today some really cowardice acts by a few wanna-be "leaders" but I was really happy at the end of it all to see the common man out on the street continuing with their lives! I won't write about what all happened today but you can read it up in the link.

I took this shot in th evening, today, after seeing and reading about all that has been happening since morning. This is a statue of Gandhiji, which is located outside one of the government buildings in the southern part of the city. I really wonder many a times as to what the father of the nation must be thinking about the current time...ss this what they fought for?

Let us all please think over the meaning of peace. Let us all please realize the meaning of peace.

For peace...

I am afraid the States has become even more openly divided in it's beliefs. It seems there is unrest everywhere. We need leaders like Ghandi now more than ever. I am tired of people preaching fear and hatred, playing to the worst aspects of human nature. It is just another way to keep people enslaved.

Its pretty much the scene here too, Rose!!
Awaiting a day when we can actually observe and realize peace in the truest sense!!

Rose has been eloquent enough for both of us here. Don't pretend to fully understand this situation (even after reading the link), but hope the violence doesn't last and that peace prevails.
