I love to shoot with lights...in lights...or simply, lights!
Festivals light up spaces...and what makes me smile a few days post the festival dates are that the lights still remain. Post Christmas, the lights continue to light up this house, which is unknown to me!
What prompted me to take this shot was the set up of Jesus and Mother Mary and the entire silent night, holy night...
What excited me to take this shot was the smile on every person's face who was passing by this house and seeing these lights glow...
This is what amazes me the most about lights - we need them to glow up spaces...and when present, we tend to get focussed on the lights' intensity and say, "we can't see what's there"...
Looking forward to the last few days of this year...and hoping that the smiles continue to get lit throughout the coming years too...
For lights...

You captured this nativity scene perfectly. Such care went into setting it up as is evident by the placement of Mary, Joseph and the Baby Jesus along with the animals and the lights add that extra touch. They would be so proud you shared this with us on your blog.
Interesting!!:) I'd love to know more about how Mother Mary, Joseph and Jesus are placed, Rose...please do let us know!!:)
Nicely captured, Rahul! I like to shoot in ambient light, almost always without flash—how about you?
I never use flash, unless insisted by the subject while taking family snaps!:D
I don't like using the flash at all!! I feel the colors that you get without the flash are much richer and have a greater impact!!:)
