...and it is the last day of the year!
Everybody waits for the 31st of this month and celebrates the year's end and welcomes the next. I took this shot at the Eastern Express Highway today as I was traveling to Thane to have dinner with my friends. Everybody here were traveling somewhere or the other to celebrate the last few hours of the last day of the year!
The long wait gets over today when one wants to start the new year freshly with new smiles, new dreams, new desires, new ambitions and hopes to achieve all the success that was pending or paused in this year!

How appropriate this shot is on so many levels.
It has been a long wait and I'm glad 2008 is finally over and that a new administration will finally begin.
Perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel . . .
