A few months ago, I happened to meet Sejal (aka energy 100%) and we were discussing ideas wherein we could merge the enthusiasm of photography and the love for the city! We immediately decided to start the Bombay Photo Club through which photography enthusiasts could meet up once a month and share, discuss and talk photography! As we got talking further, Kumar, myself and Sejal decided that we would initiate a photo-walk once a month. The idea was simple - photography lovers would walk through a locality of the city and click anything that they feel like...
...and yes, today we had our first photo-walk! When we left Bandra Station at 6:45am, we were just five of us (including Kumar, Sejal and myself) but by the end of our photo-walk, we were five of us plus around 500+ photographs! The experience was absolutely brilliant! I was, once again, reassured that there cannot be any better pleasure than clicking a moment and capturing it as it is! Now, I'm really looking forward to our next month's photo-walk as the place selected is one of my favorites...keep guessing!!;-)

PS - The location of today's photo-walk would be featured tomorrow...I'm still trying to figure out my favorite shot out of the ones taken today!;-)

Can't wait to see what else you came up with! When I got my invite for this photo-walk via facebook, I thought about how much I wanted to join you. There is a community of NYC bloggers, and we get together for a meal occasionally (and when our hero, Eric from PDP, was in town!). We've spoken about meeting up like this (mainly to shoot a specific thing that we can't get access to but are hoping to one day), but it hasn't happened yet.
