I took this shot from the Globas Theatres located at Hill Road, Bandra. These houses simply amazed me from the top. I love to check out houses of any kinds, and if they are independent houses, I love them even more!
For some reason, this courtyard is always closed and not many get to peek into what lies inside this prime location! I guess I should figure out more about this location soon...but I want to share, at this point, a space that I was reminded of when I clicked this shot.
Recently, when I was at Ahmedabad, I happened to go to the Sabarmati Ashram, the residence of Mahatma Gandhi. I wouldn't speak about the space as it is way beyond words and descriptions. But I would just want to say that what lies in the space is purity, silence and peace...something that we would crave for throughout...
For spaces and their expressions...

I really like the lines and angles in this photo. But how fabulous that you got to visit the home of Gandhi! I can only imagine the feeling that still lives in that place. (Had a similar experience, I think, when I visited the place where Ann Frank and her family hid from the Nazis in Amsterdam. You can still feel their presence there—it's very powerful.)
yea, Gandhi's ashram was really nice!!:) I've been to the Anne Frank museum...it was awesome!!:)
